Children can choose to forego their party"goody bag" in favor of treating a child in need. The money from the goody bag or the goody bag itself can be given as a treat to a less fortunate child. Children will receive a medal recognition and the satisfaction of knowing that small changes and sacrifices can make a big difference in the lives of the underprivileged. The award reads as follows:

The Palm Association helps children that don't have all the nice things that you do, things like cool toys, tasty food, nice clothes and comfy homes. We want to help these children, so we ask lucky children if they would give up one of their treats so that someone else can have nice things too. So...
